Jacqueline Ross takes home the Championship title!

CMRC National MX Series: Round 8, Sand Del Lee, ON, August 10th, 2008.

Jacqueline Ross wins the 2008 CMRC Suzuki Women's NationalsRoyal Distributing Thor Riverside KTM Canada rider Jacqueline Ross, finished second overall Sunday for the final round of the CMRC MX Ladies Class on her KTM 144 SX. Ross dominated the first moto and crossed the finish line in first place confirming her title at the same time.

She had a good second moto and took the third place. She was extremely happy to win the championship in her first attempt on the Canadian MX circuit.

In MX1, KTM USA rider Nick Wey came down to Sand Del Lee last weekend. He had two good motos finishing 4th in the first one and 5th in the second one.
In MX2, KTM rider Ryan Lockhart had his best race of the season on his KTM 250 SX-F. He was riding in 2nd place during most of the first moto, battled hard all race and was able to keep his second position until the end of the race. He also had a good second race as he finished in the top 5 to take the 4th position overall.

His KTM teammate, Eric Nye finished 4th at his first moto and gained one position for his second one. His 4-3 results gave him the 2nd spot on the podium for the day. Again with his consistent racing and great results, he is keeping his lead in the Championship with 305 points.

The 3rd MX2 rider Mason Phillips had a difficult day Sunday as he crashed several times in his first moto but he still managed to get back on his bike and crossed the finish line in the top 10. He took the 11th position in moto 2 to also take the 11th place overall.

Great results for KTM riders at Sault St-Marie, ON MX regional!

CMRC regional race: Runway Park Sault St. Marie, ON, August 10th, 2008.

Last weekend in Runway Park in Ontario held a CMRC regional MX race. KTM amateur riders performed pretty well on Sunday in different classes. KTM rider in MX1 Junior class, Mike McIntyre rode well in each motos with 2 second
position for a 3rd place overall for the day.

Another KTM rider who did great last weekend was Youth class racer
Richard Kreidi. He finished 6th at his first moto and 3rd at moto 2. His 6-3 results gave him the 4th place overall.

KTM rider Joseph Rose wins MX Alberta Fall Series!

CMRC Alberta Fall Series: Round 2, Blackfoot Motorcycle Park, August 10th, 2008.

KTM rider Joseph Rose entered last weekend the second round of the Alberta fall series. He raced in the GP Pro class and won the overall. He finished 4th in his first moto and 2nd in moto 2 on his KTM 450 SX-F. After this round he
is now leading the championship with 90 points.

Rose also rode in the MX1 Pro class. He had 2 really good races as he finished in the top 5 in moto 1 and took the second spot on the podium for his second moto. His 5-2 results gave him the 3rd position overall for the day. He is also in the lead in the MX1 Pro class.

Michael Leon 2nd at round 5 and Eric Beauséjour 3rd at round 6!

Canadian Superbike Championship, Thunder Class: Round 5 & 6, Shubenacadie, NS, August, 8th/ 9th /10th, 2008.

Last weekend, was the 5th and 6th round of the Canadian Superbike Championship at the Atlantic Motorsport Park, NS. KTM rider Eric Beauséjour had an amazing weekend scoring his best results of the season. He qualified his KTM 990 Super Duke R in 3rd position for the weekend.

The other KTM Cycle Works Ltd. rider Michael Leon qualified in 5th position for the two races. In round 5, Leon was able to pass some riders and he crossed the finished line in second place followed not far behind by his teammate Beauséjour in 4th position.

Sunday, for the 6th round of the series, Beauséjour kept his 3rd position on the starting grid until the end of the race. Leon had some difficulties in round 6 but the number 74 ended the race in 11th position.

A Meaningful Win in Washington for Kurt Casselli!

WORCS Series: round 7, Olympia, WA, August 10th, 2008.

Red Bull KTM Factory rider Kurt Caselli put together the most memorable ride of his career to win the 7th Round of the WORCS Series in honor of his late father Rich Caselli. In lap 2, Caselli had moved into 3rd and the following lap
into 2nd. On the second to last lap he made the pass to take over the lead and managed to pull a gap over the rest of the field before he crossed the finish to take his second win of the season. His teammate, Soulè rode a steady race to earn 10th overall.

Troy Herfoss Cashes in for HMC KTM Racing!

AMA Supermoto Series: Round 2,, August 10th, 2008.

HMC KTM Factory rider Troy Herfoss took home his first Premier class win over the weekend at the second round of the AMA Supermoto Series. At the finish, there was nearly an eight-second gap over Burkhart with Herfoss taking his
first of what should be many more victories. Fillmore held true with a solid third-place finish keeping the prominent color of orange on the podium. With his victory, Herfoss is now only two points behind Burkhart in the race for the
championship.
